Biro is a writer/director/producer at his NYC company,
Hudson River Films. He’s produced and directed three feature documentaries:
“Herbie Hancock: Possibilities”; Grammy-nominated “The Greatest Ears in Town: The Arif Mardin Story” and “3 Doors Down: Away From The Sun.” He’s also produced five UNESCO-sponsored “International Jazz Day” concert films in New York City, Istanbul, Osaka, Paris, and the 2017 concert in Havana.
Currently he’s producing “GOTTI: Godfather and Son”—a four-hour docu-series for A&E. He’s executive producer of “Getting Naked”—James Lester’s highly anticipated feature doc about the Burlesque scene in New York City. And he’s supervising producer of “The Perfect Murder”—the true-crime hit series in its fifth season on Investigation Discovery (ID) network. In 2016 he executive produced the feature film “Ace the Case” starring Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon and young Broadway star, Ripley Sobo.
In the 90’s Biro was creative director at McCann-Erickson New York and Tokyo where he wrote and produced award-winning tv spots for Coca-Cola and Levi’s directed by David Fincher, David Lynch and J.J. Abrams.
